KonkaEnergy 1.29MWh-500kW Air Cooled Modular BESS

The KonkaEnergy 1.29MWh-500kW Containerized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a versatile, modular solution engineered for high-performance applications such as frequency regulation for power plants, user-side peak shifting, and micro-grid integration with renewable energy sources. This all-in-one system integrates lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology with a 500kW Power Conversion System (PCS) inside a standard 20HQ container.

System Architecture & Configuration

This BESS is designed for maximum efficiency and ease of maintenance with a modular, "aisleless" internal layout.

  • Battery Modules: Features 90 modules, each containing 16 cells in serial connection (1P16S) providing 14.336kWh per module.
  • Battery Racks: Consists of 6 racks (clusters), each housing 15 modules and a dedicated control box.
  • Power Conversion: Includes a high-efficiency 500kW PCS with a maximum efficiency of 98.8%.
  • Integrated Management: A comprehensive three-tier BMS (BMU, BCMS, and BAMS) monitors the system from the cell level to the entire battery unit.
